We started today off at a military service in Danli. The Lord really helped me as I preached on “Three Detours on the Road to Heaven”. After I preached, I handed it straight back to Bro. Scott because he told me we were under time constraint, but the Spirit of conviction was moving so mightily that he decided to give an altar call and six people came forward. Three men, three women, one of which was in tears as we prayed for her. It thrilled my heart so much to see such brokenness from a sinner. It’s something I don’t see very often preaching to so many gospel-hardened people in America. Throughout the day, I enjoyed getting to walk around downtown Donli with Bro. Scott and the others. At one point, I went with him to the church because he needed to meet a man there for some business. I ended up helping shovel some dirt and rocks on the road in front of the church for speed bumps their trying to get built. Giving my time and effort for that little project was very fulfilling. It truly is more blessed to give than to receive. Later on at the youth revival, we had such a powerful move of the Holy Ghost! The singing, testifying, and the first message by Bro. Daniel was all great, but what really broke through was the message God gave Bro. Brock to preach, which was about Elijah’s mantle. Not since I’ve been in Bible school have I seen so many young people crying out to God for a fresh burden for the work of God! It was truly amazing!! It felt so awesome to see God stirring young Honduran people to carry on the vision that God started in Bro. Jake Sumner. God did great things today.
