What a radical change I have experienced in the last 24 hours, from the cold and snow of NE Ohio to the greenery, warmth and sunshine of Honduras Central America! That is not the only change I have experienced in the past day, however. I have gone from an English speaking world to one that speaks Spanish, from flat lands to high mountains and winding roads. The most noticeable of all the changes, though, is that of going from a world of relative comfort and prosperity to one of hardship and deep poverty.
This is my fourth visit to this third world country which is still sorely in need of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is an honor and privilege to work again with some of the greatest missionaries I know, the Sumner family. They have graciously invited us, another SENT team, to work alongside them in the military bases, police academies, prisons, and Danli’s Pentecostal church. We covet your prayers as this fine group of young people from FGBI give their all for this world missions effort.
