Today was a little bit different in that we only had one military service. One of the commanders told us there was close to 400 in attendance this morning! I got a video of the men breaking out of formation and running to the bleachers to get a seat, it was awesome! A message was preached about Jesus being our Great Shepherd and we are the sheep of His pasture. Bro. Hough used a large stick to show what a shepherd did when guiding the sheep. My family and I were able to see an officer that we have known for several years, we were glad to catch up with him. After the service, the commander of that base (3rd artillery battalion), wanted to talk to all of our group. He had my dad interpret and told us of how he had the privilege of being a soldier twice; first, in the Lord's army and secondly, in the armed forces of Honduras. He thanked us for coming and welcomed us back as soon as we could return.
On our way home, we stopped and ate at my favorite restaurant that served fried fish:) It tasted amazing and ate more than I should have. Bro. Hough, James and Daniel ate their fish's eyeballs! And James topped it all with eating it's brain! We got back on the road and reached home 5 hours later. We made it home just safely and I'm going to try to get to bed early tonight.
