Tonight was the first night of kid's crusade! Wooooo!!!! It was a lot of fun, and our balloon tower game was hilarious, but the best part was seriously praying with the kids. They are just so sincere when they pray. The tears would just streak down their faces. It broke and melted my heart all at the same time.
Today is our last day to be out and we went to a military base where there were like 300 military men. The man over all of them came and talked to us about how he was privileged to be in two armies. The Honduran army and the Lord's army and then he thanked us for bringing God's word to us and asked us to pray for him. It was amazing. Then we went to this fish place for lunch. It was beautiful. It was an open building overlooking a lake with mountains in the background and when they cook they fish they cook it whole. Head and all! So I got chicken strips and French fries. I know - I’m so adventurous.
Today we got to go to a ceremony on a base! It was pretty nifty. They gave speeches then handed out donuts and orange juice to everyone. Everyone is so polite here. At most of the bases they would buy drinks for us and give up their place to sit so we could sit down. I hate that there is such a language barrier, but thank God He has no barriers!
Missionary life starts early. Very early. We got up at 3:20 a.m. and were on our way by 4:00 a. m. to a military base. Our first service was at Tacitico, then we went to the 1st artillery, and ITP in La Paz.Then to Cedeace and the engineer battalion. It's been so busy but wonderful! You could really feel the Lord at those services. Our first day of military ministry has been awesome!
Well, S.E.N.T. to Honduras has officially begun...at 3 a.m. The whole airport and airplane thing is really new to me. I discovered that I LOVE to fly! It’s so cool! My favorite part is the take off! I’m pretty sure everyone on the plane thought I was crazy because I was so excited. I took a video and everything! We got to Honduras and make it through all the airport stuff and got to the Sumner's safe and sound!
