Well on Thursday we went to one military base. It was the last base till we got back to the Sumner’s. Brother Hough preached this service and he preached from Psalm 23 about the Lord being our shepherd. There were hundreds of soldiers there that morning. Sister Elizabeth led songs and a few of the girls testified that morning. As all of the other services, the presence of God was so strong there. It amazed me how the soldiers got in and helped sing the songs. You could tell that the Sumner’s have really impacted these people’s lives for God’s glory. Brother Hough preached about how the Lords rod and staff comfort His sheep and how God is able to restore and able to save and able to keep His sheep. The soldiers were very attentive and it appeared that many of them really received the word that morning. When we went to leave the Colonel wanted to speak with all of us. I was so blessed to hear what he said to us. He said he was thankful for us coming and he said that we are more than welcome to come back and that the door is open to minister there. He said he is wanting to go into pastoring and he has been studying and hoping God will use him to do so. His burden is that his soldiers get serious with God and that they raise their hands and worship the Lord. It was amazing to here this. Even in the stated are military Colonel’s don’t speak like that, I was surprised and blessed at the same time. I really hope, Lord willing that I get the opportunity to minister there again someday. Then from service we started are long voyage back to the Sumner’s house.
