Day 2

When we got here to the school, it was great. We are finally here to do what we came to do. We greeted the students, I talked with them, and tried to play basketball with some of the students. It was pretty funny trying to play basketball because I really didn't not how to play, so I would tell the students that they're no fouls in this game. The night came to a close and all the students were ready for bed.

Preaching with in interpreter was such an experience, I've done it before so it was really hard at first, but once I kept going I finally understood what to do. I preached on, (it won't always be this way, don't give up, because help is on the way). Talking with the students and getting to know them was a blast, we sang together, gave a devotion, and they were really kind and friendly towards us, they offered us their pillows and their blankets, and it was really kind of them to do that for even though they really did not know us.

Dinner at Mazanos was amazing,( I'm sorry grandma, but their cooking was better than yours.) Not only did we get to eat there, but we got to sing and Simeon was playing his harmonica, Ben was on the piano, the pastors son was on the drums, and I got sing. It was a blast, and we had a great time with the pastor and his family. Missions conference was amazing, the preaching and the singing was tremendous, and you know the Lord was there. The Lord spoke to hearts and He challenged us to do something for Him.

The crusades with the kids was amazing, we had a great time with the kids and the other kids at the school. Seeing those children participate was just wonderful and great.

Day 1

Throughout this trip, it has been interesting. From the plane ride and to the landing, it was nerve racking. I have never flown before and in my mind I was thinking, (I really hope we do not crash). We went through security in Pittsburgh airport and it was something else. I've never been through security in a airport, so I did not know what to do. We had a buddy system, but I couldn't find my buddy so he could tell me what to do. I had a nice gentleman behind me coaching me and telling me what to do and how to do it. The lady that was bossing everyone around seemed to be really upset with the world and people in the airport. It was early that morning on the plane, and we begin to take off, it kind of scared me, so I started to pray and ask the Lord to help me because I thought we were not going to make it. We eventually made it to Chicago, where we met Bro. Pahlman, and to wait for the next flight to Hong Kong. It felt like eternity waiting in the airport for our next flight, it seemed like it would never get here, but we finally made it on the plane to Hong Kong. The flight from Chicago to Hong Kong was a very, very, very long flight. We a flight attendant who was just awesome to the group, and she was really nice, she even prayed for us when she found out what we were doing and why we were doing it. We arrived really late in Hong Kong, and I really did not know what day it was or what time it was. My mind was thrown into a loop, it was like we traveled for two days but it was actually like one day. Hong Kong was really nice, we had another flight to Manila, that really did not take very long and we got to stay there as well and it was really nice.
