It’s hard to believe its Friday already!!!! The day started with a service with the police. After the team sang and testified, Bro. Chris ministered so profoundly on the 3 obstacles to hell. When the altar call was given about 6 people came forward for salvation. One lady that stood out to me was one I remembered from last year. She stood there weeping before the Lord. I couldn’t help but cry myself as I prayed that God would open her heart and give her understanding of who Jesus Christ is. It’s in these moments I wish I knew how to speak Spanish. The second night of youth revival was beyond what words can even describe. The power and presence of God moved so mightily as Bro. Brock preached on taking up the mantle. He talked to the youth about forsaking all to follow the call of God. He used the Sumner families as an example of men who had laid everything else aside and chose to live their lives in Honduras preaching the Gospel. He told them that these men wouldn’t always be here and that God was looking for young men to take up the mantle to carry the work on in Honduras. When Bro. Brock gave the altar call several of the men came forward weeping and shaking under the power of God. One young man fell out on the floor and several others fell to their knees, with tears rolling down their faces. When it was time to be dismissed, nobody moved. The presence of God was still sweeping across the congregation. I felt the Spirit of God so sweetly come over my own heart and speak to me. It was a defining moment in my life that I will never forget. I’m thankful that God orders our steps through His word and that He is the same yesterday, today and forever more. The promises of God are the same as they were the very first time God spoke them to you and what He says He will do. We are looking forward to the soup kitchen, Saturday schools, and kids crusade all on Saturday. It’s going to be a full Day! We are believing the Lord to move in a mighty way once again.
