Day 7

2/20/2015

Today we got to be a part of the practical side of ministry. Just like work day at school, there were things needing to be done and we were there to do it. We broke off into groups and began to clean, lend a hand, and help wherever was needed. It was so nice to be a blessing to Bro. and Sis. Lloyd.  We spent the afternoon playing with the kids at the house. Several of our students played soccer with them. We had a blast even though they are so much better than us!

During our last service, God sent His presence in such a mighty way. We saw a hunger in many young people as they came forward to seek the baptism of the Holy Ghost. One young lady testified to being refilled with the Holy Ghost. Some of these kids prayed like they had not this whole week. Another answer to prayer!! 1Th_5:24  Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

Saying goodbye is always hard. The missionaries and the people have made an impact on my life. I have wanted to come to Haiti for a long time and did not know how that would happen. God opened the door and we came. This trip has been different than any other I have taken. I would say it is the ministry that is here. So many young people needing the Lord even greater in their lives. This is an amazing ministry here in Haiti and the missionaries have vision for more. Once again the problem lies with the need of more laborers.

It was great to see the students being used by God and especially Nancy and Richard being used to touch so many lives in their country. I am proud of them and their obedience and burden to see God move.

Every service and every life will be not only a memory but a continued prayer for God to move and bring revival to Haiti. I will greatly miss this place and praying that I can return shortly.

Day 6

2/19/2015

We spent the day touring the city. It was eventful as one of the vehicles broke down in the middle of the city. Many were kind to try and help. We made it to the Iron Market and had some fun bartering the prices. We had been warned how to do this. Everyone wants your attention and wants you to buy from them. For the most part, I believe we all got good deals.

We returned and got to eat another Haitian meal. I have been learning how to cook this style of food. It is very tasty and I think the students back home at FGBI will enjoy it!

The service once again was exciting as we waited to see what God would do. Jacob preached on "Being Holy". Many came to the altar! Let it grow and let them go beyond, is my prayer.

Day 5

2/18/2015

This was the last day for the crusade and youth. Every day the expectation is building about what God will do today. The youth and children seemed to enjoy our program and many came to pray. We pray the Lord allows what was taught to be applied to their lives and they seek Him more than ever before.

Tonight's service was wonderful.  Bro. Pahlman preached "Are You Ready?" and many came to pray. It is hard to tell how many actually prayed for salvation, but we have been encouraged to see the response in the altars. Bro. Lloyd has said that this is the best results they have had in the altars and that is encouraging answer to prayer. All glory goes to God!

Day 4

2/17/2015

There is such an expectation to see what God will do next. As we all testified about the Lord turning the tide last night, we have seen a much better response in the altar calls--this is an answer to prayer.  God is faithful! The Lord has laid a burden for certain teens here on my heart and tonight I had the opportunity to pray with one of those teens--she has such a hunger for God! The Spirit of the Lord came down and I believe the Lord brought restoration and healing in her mind.

We saw new faces tonight and wanted God to fix their problems and Joe had preached. Looking forward to the rest of the Revival. The last night of Mardi Gras was canceled because many were injured and killed in an accident. When listening to the pastor tell about what happened it just brings to light the even greater need in Haiti.

We went to the open air market and bought food for the house today. Since I have been cooking for FGBI this year, I realize how much it takes to feed so many! There are many mouths to feed here, and what a blessing that so many support this work.

Day 3

2/16/2015

Today was a fun filled day with two crusades with the teens and younger children. What excitement as we had about 150 to 200 teens to attend. The children’s group was much lower, however, God came by to help and anoint us. We are believing that the Lord touched many today.

Tonight's service was exceptional as the Spirit came and a turning point took place. The response in the altars was amazing!  Many came for deliverance and healing.  One elderly woman had several pray for her as she was experiencing pain in her body. One after another kept coming forward for prayer. The SENT team has been praying for a move of God like this in the services. Please continue to pray for us that God will continue to move and change lives.

Day 2

2/15/2015

Bright and early has a new meaning for Sunday as we rose with the chickens--the sounds of them reminding me we weren’t in the States anymore. The morning church started at 8:00 am! We had a wonderful service, with many of the classes taught by FGBI students--who did a great job! Bro. Pahlman preached about cherishing the old rugged cross. One came forward to pray for salvation!  There was also an early night service in which Jacob did a very good job preaching about The Titled Deed-God has the Right and Might. Praise God, two came to pray for salvation.

We are seeing God work and answer prayer! What a mighty God we serve!
