I woke up this morning thanking God for this beautiful day. It's not every birthday you get to celebrate in another country. I'm thankful for the opportunity to be able to come on this trip. I have seen God move in great ways since being here. Today we painted the tables for the soup kitchen. We also cleaned and scrubbed the tables and benches first. It was fun. I kept thinking about how the work we do here is not in vain and the job we do now is going to be used in the future.
Tonight was the second night of Kid's Campaign. God came by in a marvelous way once again. The testimonies went together and you could tell that God was dealing with someone about being called. Bro. James got up last and preached about the blood of Jesus. He talked about how we confine ourselves to boxes and we don't step out. He challenged people to step out of their boundaries. He said that sometimes our families and our cultural confines us to a boundary. It was awesome to see people stepping out. There was a particular young lady who I felt like I needed to pray for. As I went and prayed The Lord began to deal about saying something to her. I stepped out in faith and afterwards she said that it was exactly what she had been praying for. She said that she hadn't told anyone but God. It got me thinking about how we can't be afraid to step out when God deals with us to do something. It opened my eyes to realize that there are souls on the balance in the ministry. That what if we are the last ones to be the minister? What decisions are they going to make according to whether or not you obeyed God.
God knows what we need when we need it. Everything is according to God's Will. I'm amazed of how when we minister God can deal with our hearts and confirm things in our lives as well. There is a strength that comes in being in Gods Will. There is a peace that comes in knowing that God helps in guiding us were He wants us to be. Tonight God reached way down into the hearts and lives of the people.
It's a blessing when God moves in our lives when we least expect it. It's always nice when God behind confirming things in our lives sometimes we just have to so what we can, while we can. God works things out in His timing. We just have to have faith and trust in Him and let Him work it out. God doesn't break His promises. Sometimes Gods plans may surprise you and you find out that the things you feel impressed in your heart is from God and they are there for a reason. When God calls, we have to answer not holding anything back, just stepping out and believing that God really is in control.
