Well today was our last day in Honduras. We got up and had breakfast with the Sumner's and then headed for the airport. The flights were pretty uneventful which is good. We got back to the school at about one in the morning. This trip to Honduras was amazing. Getting to preach to the military and police of a whole country was an awesome experience. Also getting to minister in Bro Alan's church in Danli was a privilege. It was sad leaving the children that had become your buddies and loved to run around and play with you. I'm so glad for the burden that the Sumner's have and for the opportunity to go on SENT to Honduras 2015!
Today was a day to just relax and get to see some of Honduras. We went to Valley of the Angels and shopped at some craft shops for a while. It was a great trip with awesome scenery. We came back to the house and then Bro. Alan took us up in his plane for some short rides. That was really cool. We finished up the evening with a service in their living room. We sang songs and then Bro. Jake Sumner talked to us about how God has a plan for each life and the most important thing is to make sure that you are following the will of God. Overall it was a great day for everyone.
Today was like a day of busy week except we all went together. We had four services today. We left for Tegucigalpa at about 7:30 am and went to the Air Force Base there. Aaron preached that service. We saw the former presidential jet in the hanger (the president got a new one--I'm sure everyone is just so interested to know that...). Our second service was at the language school for the military. They are not allowed to speak any Spanish in their class so we had to do our service in English. The second semester students understood most of it but the first semester students had a little trouble keeping up. It was awesome getting to talk to them in English. The next service I preached at the police academy. The final service was at the military academy. This was my favorite one of all. They responded so well to everything and seemed really happy that we were there.
