Day 8 we went to a police station to preach and Brother Pahlman did good again. We, then, went to have a traditional Honduran breakfast and it was quite amazing, like all of the food had been. We, then, went grocery shopping with Brother Jake Sumner and his wife.
Day 7 was basically a free day for the south team. We went and ate at Denny's and then we hung out at the mall. At about 1 o'clock we picked up Brother Pahlman from the airport. We then started our drive home to get ready for church.
Day 6 was an interesting day. We went to preach for the Tigers and Cobras special forces for the Honduran army and basically swat teams. Jacob Vaughn preached for them and there was a really good response.
The start of busy week, we woke up at 3 a.m. to start our tour around the bases and police stations. I slept the whole way to the first one. We arrived and they had canceled on us, as we got there. So we went on to the 101 Brigade. Jeffery preached and a couple of the men raised their hands and worshipped. It was a tough crowd.
Today was our off day. We woke up and had a wonderful breakfast with the whole family. Then we were off to the Valley of the Angels, a little tourist town. We stopped and got some Espresso Americano, the Grenidas there are amazing.
On Sunday, Jeffrey and I taught Sunday school. I, mainly, let Jeffery teach. We taught on temptation, and a young man gave a testimony of how God helped him overcome temptation in school. Then afterwards, we came home and took a nap.
On Saturday, we did the soup kitchen. We helped the Sumner's clean up the area of the dust, then helped prepare the meals. It was a wonderful time. Then over 100 kids came and were fed. We put on a skit about Esther for the children. Then, we went to two different Saturday schools and put on the same skit the children loved it.
On the first day we left for the airport from FGBI very early in the morning. We went through the security and I had forgotten that I had a pocket knife in a pair of jeans I put in my carry-on, so that got thrown away. Then, after security we went and ate breakfast at McDonald's then boarded the plane bound for Atlanta.
