Our morning was pretty cool and uneventful, but we had a great service on the second night of the Youth Revival. Sis. Janna, myself, and Elizabeth testified and the Lord really helped us. We all spoke along the same lines of being filled with the Spirit and doing a work for the Lord. God's presence came down as we were singing and you could tell He was dealing with hearts.
Sunday was the last day of the kids crusade and the first night of the Youth Revival. Arty, Marty, and Josefina managed to find Treasure Island, but they were still lost and couldn't find the treasure because they didn't understand how to follow the map. They met up with an old sailor who explained the way to them. Josefina took a second look at the map and realized that it wasn't an X on the spot, but a cross. They made it to the cross and got their hearts clean. The Kids Crusade went well overall and the kids prayed sincerely. I'm thankful for the opportunity to be involved in the kids crusade!
Saturday is always a busy day! We started off with a children's service at the brigade in Danli. The military here has a program for children to help keep them out of gangs. We held a short service with them and had a blast. Sis. Amanda really enjoyed herself--inside joke ;)
Friday! We've been here for a few days now, and the trip is going great. We had a service with the Danli police force this morning, and spent the afternoon grocery shopping with Sis. Sumner and preparing for the first night of Kids Crusade.
Today was mostly spent traveling, but we did get to have one service this morning at the 14th Battalion. We had a good time at this base, starting with the service. Ashton preached again this morning, and the service went well. It was sad that it was our last service for the North team, but we will be holding a few more military and police services as a group tomorrow and next week.
Today was a great day! We got to sleep in a bit and left at 7 am for the first of four services. We went to the Special Police Force (The detectives of Honduras) and held a service. Ashton preached on "The Weights of Sin" and how they could be set free.
Today was an eventful, long day! We left Tegucigalpa this morning at 5:45 am and ministered at six services! I've been really enjoying myself on the North Team.
Well, we are finally here! After getting an early start and braving the icy roads of Pennsylvania, we made it to warm, sunny Tegucigalpa! The flights down were interesting, as Hannah Bragg and Aaron Johnson were super excited and made us laugh several times.
