Called, challenged and changed. Once again we must say goodbye. As I reflect over the trip and think about what has been accomplished, I am reminded of the calling of God and His faithfulness to perform His will. I have felt the burden of this trip and anticipated what would take place and how it would unfold while praying for the specific services and people. We could see God, by His Spirit, making changes in people's lives as we prayed with them--from military, to police, to children, to adults. The Spirit of the Lord is no respecter of persons and His desire is to seek and save the lost, heal the hurting, and fill with the Spirit. As a result, it has challenged my heart even greater to continue in the work to which He has called me to. It is hard to explain in words and tell all the stories, but my prayer is to continue in the work and do more for Christ-- if we don't, who will? Send me Lord, I pray, to the lost, the lonely, the least! We had a full day of military services, as we went to the police academy and also the military academy. Before the message, we performed a Bible skit which they enjoyed very much. We desire they always remember what has been taught to them and don't think they will forget the story anytime soon.
This is the last night of youth revival, the reality we will be leaving has set in. Much prayer has gone into this trip and to see God answering prayer makes the desire to stay even greater. Bro. Pahlman preached about fighting for our freedom in the Lord. This was an outstanding message to keep up the fight and not be conquered by Satan, deception and discouragement. The young people poured themselves our before the Lord, and I believe renewed commitments were made to follow God. Talking with some afterward and hearing them express the struggles they face, shows how God has spoken a word to them. Thank God He knows what is needed.
This is the second night of youth revival and many of us had the same burden to see the young people go beyond anything in the Lord than they have ever before. Many need the Holy Ghost and there is a need for laborers in many other places. Bro. Ashton preached "A Plea to My Generation". He spoke about awakening out of sleep, casting off and putting on. It was a challenging message that touched many lives. If people would seek God and get beyond themselves and surrender completely, I believe this nation would be changed.
This is the last day of kids crusade and the first night of youth revival. It is hard to describe in words seeing God touch lives--suffer the little children! As we ministered to the kids, it was a joy to see their excitement at what would come next! The Lord came and worked in these little ones lives. It was so precious to pray with them to receive salvation. I am reminded over and over how important it is to reach all ages. The future generation is so plagued by sin and Godlessness!
Starting off early this morning we headed to the base to do a children's program. The girls were already there and we were waiting for the truck of boys! We had service with no electric but nevertheless, the work of God goes on.
This morning we went to a police service! It was a little rainy but nevertheless the Lord was there. Teresa Cooper and Ruth Violette testified and Ashton Davis preached. Thank the Lord for His presence.
Today we just had one military service and then a day of travel to Danli. Ashton preached and did a great job. We went to the Jaguar base that guards the local dam. There weren't very many people but God was there. It is a wonderful feeling to get to minister in the open air. Declaring the wondrous works of the Lord.
We are anticipating and expecting great things today! We continued to minister to the military and police with four services today.
Today will be a full day of traveling and ministering to 6 different bases and police forces. Ashton and Aaron did a wonderful job preaching about salvation. We saw around 50 people come forward for prayer. We pray the Lord's work and His will be done in their lives. The verse on my heart has been "blessed is he whose sins are forgiven." Thank God He still saves. Looking forward to tomorrow! |
