The day started early! We left the school at 3 am and headed for the Pittsburg Airport. From Pittsburg we flew and landed in Atlanta, Georgia. AfrWe landed in Honduras and it was bright and sunny and warm. The Sumner’s met us at the airport and then took us to the mall to enjoy the tasty Coco Baleadas. From the mall we left and went to the Sumner’s house and enjoyed a good tasting meal and some great fellowship. The Sumner family has been a blessing to us and we weren’t even in Honduras for a whole day! Driving down the roads of Honduras have showed me how much the Sumner’s love these people and the love that the Honduran people have for the Sumner’s. It seemed like every street we drove down no matter the distance from their house somebody knew them and it was because of the affect that the Sumner’s ministry has had on the people. It truly has been an eye opening day and the Lord has really challenged me to start praying for a people because it is clear that the Sumner’s people are the Hondurans.
