Friday was a very busy day but it was very beneficial. We started out at a military base at 730. Sister Rachel led song service and then Sister Amanda, Sister Bethany, Brother Pahlman and I testified. Just from the testimonies you could tell that the message was going to be on salvation. Brother Jacob Vaughn preached on “While it was still dark.” The message was really good and some of the soldiers actually got prayed for. Although some may have not responded the way we had hoped, we know that the word has gone forth and that the seed has been planted and we pray that God will give the increase. Later on, we went to the church to set up for the first service that night! We got the memory verses taped to the wall and we had all of the skit and game materials set up and ready to go! Service started around 7:30 that night and before that I was privileged to go with Brother Alan Sumner and pick up kids in the bus. By the time we got to church the bus seats were overfilled and kids were standing in the isles! It was amazing how many kids came out! It was also amazing to see the love and compassion that Brother Sumner has for these children. The love of God was just burning through him towards these children. We started service and we went through our skit and games and the children really had a good time and we did too! Then Brother Alan got up and made the altar call. Many children came flooding the altars and prayed for a good 15 to 20 minutes. We are really looking forward to what God will do in the upcoming services!
