Sunday morning was the last Kids Crusade service. The recruits were able to defeat Goliath by using the Holy Spirit. The kids really enjoyed the skits and games that day, but the altar service was so special. As little kids came up and prayed around the altars to be filled with the Holy Spirit, such a presence of God entered the room. Several mothers prayed with their children, and tears were just running down the kid's faces as they sought and prayed for the Holy Ghost. I know at least one boy, Jadel, was filled with the Holy Ghost.
Sunday night was the first night of the youth revival. The youth revival is probably my favorite series of services we hold in Honduras. The young people are just so hungry for the Spirit of God, and The Lord always exceeds my expectations for these services.
We had only sung a few songs and you could just feel the presence of the Lord all over the place. No matter if you are singing in Spanish or English, the presence of The Lord is the same. Daniel Threadgill preached on "Thank God for Jesus" and he did a great job; The Lord really helped him. After that, the Sumner girls got up and sang "You Deserve the Glory". From there the place just exploded. God came down in such a powerful way! People were praising God and shouting everywhere, The Lord blessed myself and the other SENT Team members. Bro. Hough began to exhort on how the Devil is under our feet and it encouraged so many people that night.
The Lord answered one of my prayers Sunday night. A girl named Pamela had backslid after my first SENT trip, and I really wanted to see her come back to the Lord. She showed up unexpectedly Sunday night and began to pray. Praise The Lord for answering prayer!
Sunday had wonderful services and the Lord just exceeded my expectations for each one. I'm so thankful that He is mindful of our own needs, as well as those you are trying to minister to.
